Here is an update on the photographer that was hit by a race vehicle at the Starvation ridge race.

Her name is Charlotte Gerken

Both of her legs were broken and she has had a couple surgeries this week. She had damage to one knee which will keep her off of that leg for a couple months. Some friends have bult a wheelchair ramp at her house and she should be coming home from the hospital soon. I have not been in contact with her husband Don yet but hope to have a phone number for him soon. I will post it when I get it. I dont know what we can do to help but i will keep my ear to the ground for an oppurtunity.

I appreciate the work that they do at the races and have enjoyed Charlotte when I have chatted with her.
Please keep her in your thoughts.

I suppose we could all support her by purchasing the excellent pictures they take of our race vehicles.

This is the first I herd about the accident.
Can we start a fund, set up a bank acount or something to help them out?

Having been in their shoes, I know that every little bit helps. The address is posted in case anyone wants to help out financially or just drop them a note. Purchasing pictures would also be helpful to them I'm sure.
